How To Level A Warlock – Fast!

If you’re looking to find out how to level a Warlock, it’s a good idea to first have an understanding of what the Warlock is. You see the Warlock is class that can first of all cast spells and second of all call forth demons to help him out in combat.

More specifically, the Warlock can use his summoned minions to hold enemy aggro so that they don’t attack him. They also can cast what are known as DOTs and spells such as Shadowbolt to take enemies down.

To begin with, for leveling, the demon you’re going to want to use most of the time is the Voidwalker. This is a summonable pet you’ll get once you’re level 10, one that does a great job of keeping the enemies away from you.

When you begin a fight, the attack sequence you’re going to want to follow is to first send your pet in, then follow up with an Immolate, then a Curse of Agony and finally Corruption. After all this, use Drain Life on the enemy until it dies.

As for attacking multiple mobs at a time, the sequence of spells is basically the same with a few changes. You want to start by sending in your minion, then casting Immolate on 1 of the mobs, then Curse of Agony, Corruption and Drain Life. If other mobs are approaching you want to Fear them, then re-apply the DOTs to the first target until its dead before moving onto the next feared enemy.

These simple spell rotations should get you through most of the game without any troubles although later on down the road, you may want to switch to a Felguard as your demon and perhaps add some Life Taps into the mix.
