Searching For The Smallest Laptop?

It seems like when it comes to engineering, we have two very dissimilar objectives. When it comes to plasma T.V.’s or LCD T.V’s, we want the biggest ones we can find. But, when it comes to cell phones and laptops, small-scale is the king.

And when it comes to how we do our computing, everyone seems to be searching for the smallest laptop.

We all know the lame jokes about how size does not matter, but tell that to the R&D guys at the computer companies across the globe and expect less than a wry smile…because their lives are dedicated to making smaller and smaller versions that go faster and faster.

At least that’s what they claimed. Obviously, there are a lot of people like me, who love a small laptop for those times when you don’t want to bring your big laptop like when you are touring. Anyone who tried to open their laptop on a plane knows exactly what I mean, you open it and can’t really put the tray down, so you keep it partially opened, put in your movie, put on your head phones and bingo the guy with the bladder condition needs to use the bathroom. It’s a luxury but a smaller laptop is nice to have.

But understand, sometimes that means giving up some toys, like a dvd or cd drive. And usually, sound quality suffers a bit. But it’s not being used for movie night or to watch the Super bowl, so the things you’ll lose, shouldn’t matter. If I seem sort of stuck in the middle, it’s because I am. When all is said and done, my 15 inch mac book is just right for me, not to big, not too small.

For everyone searching for the smallest laptop with the most bells and whistles, your day is coming.

Anyone else sense the irony that the search for the smallest laptop just may be one of the biggest searches ever??? I do!

In this tech crazy world…, the search is on to find the smallest laptop and no one will rest until it is found. For the best small laptops, visit http://www.spitzershos.com/ now. Visit the Uber Article Directory to get a totally unique version of this article for reprint.
