With so many Americans losing their jobs over the past two years, a lot of them are trying to find any type of jobs that they can even though they are often very overqualified. The amount of people applying for low paying jobs has amazed a lot of people with thousands of applicants showing up for a minimum wage seasonal work that used to be reserved for high school teenagers. The home building and construction business has hit rock bottom with the real estate market being the worst off it has ever been. It is not uncommon to see former automobile industry executives now waiting on tables at a restaurant or as the check out person at a retail store to make some money.

Because there are so many people applying for every single job opportunity, that has made it quite difficult for the younger generation of workers to find any kind of employment. What used to be thought of as jobs for high school students or recent college grads are now being taken by people with more education and experience taking away the chance for a job for the younger people.
